When you talk about problems to students of this age, they identify them with ‘maths problems’. This program is structured to make them aware about what problems mean in real world and how does one approach to solve them! This project introduces students to an analytical and systematic problem-solving approach which uses critical questions to disassemble complicated problems into smaller, more easily-handled problems. The project introduces 4 different problem-solving tools which stem from this method. In order to deepen student’s understanding of the project’s main topic, each tool is discussed from a number of perspectives. This multi-perspective approach can help students resolve social conflicts, work out complex math problems, manage their own life with less adult intervention, and become more confident.
